Publishsed by Cole Kelly on November 24th, 2009 | Posted in Product Info | No Comments »

When it comes to the Mercedes-Benz, MEC Design is among the best to improve the style of these German engineered rides. And MEC Design isn’t holding back on its creative license to improve the Mercedes SLS AMG.

Known for their aggressive style, extreme lowering and some of the sickest deep set wheels on the market. These new renderings from MEC may or may not make it into full production, but you can be sure they will be released in a small batch and that Vivid Racing will be among the few to have them ready for you.

Until that release point, check out all the other exterior components Vivid Racing has for your Mercedes here – http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/exterior-c-4217.html

Improved Performance for Camaro SS with APR Splitter

Publishsed by Cole Kelly on November 13th, 2009 | Posted in Product Info | No Comments »

When you pick up your new Camaro from the dealer, it has been designed for the street and daily driving purposes. Chevrolet has developed a great car for that purpose, but many owners have a different need in mind, track performance. APR has created a wind splitter for the 2010 Camaro that is perfect for the track without hurting the drive ability of the car on the street. APR Performance parts are created with the finest materials and developed with tedious research to ensure the final product is perfect.

A Wind Splitter is a protruding flat surface in the front of a car that is designed to decrease front end lift and exert downforce. By creating a high pressure area on top of the wind splitter, high pressure air flow is restricted to flow underneath a car. With low pressure below the car, the effect of lift is reduced and a driver can gain from the extra traction and control. The included rods ensure this splitter stays rigid and perform its job at all speeds.

KW Suspension for New Makes and Models

Publishsed by Cole Kelly on October 29th, 2009 | Posted in Product Info | No Comments »

When looking for the blend of comfort and performance, KW Suspension is Vivid Racing’s choice for most make and models. Among their best coilovers are the KW Variant 3’s that allow the driver to create a customized suspension feel and adjust the ride height. The ease of change also allows for a street setting to be used for daily driving and then an adjustment can provide your car the stiff performance needed on the track.

New to the KW Suspension catalog is the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Variant 3 coilover. With the Camaro being a retro styled car and encompassing new technology throughout, KW Suspension set out to improve the ride and handling of this hot selling muscle car. With the same state-of-the-art technology found in the V3 coilovers for every other make and model, KW was able to fine tune the Camaro’s handling and lower the car to improve the style.

Also added to the list of cars is the Nissan 370Z. V3 coilovers could make the otherwise stock 370Z to be ready for the track because of the separate and independent compression and rebound damping options.

You can see all of the KW Suspension line here.
