Softronic does 3 things different that make the ability to tune your Porsche 997 Turbo efficiently and conveniently. First, Softronic uses a Client Cable that simply plugs into the OBDII port and then connects to your laptop. All of Softronic file transferring is done on a secure server that Softronic’s Flasher Client Software sends the files to and from with. This is necessary to maintain the security of your VIN and IMOB coded ECU and make sure that all files are for the proper vehicle. By using this method, there is no need to remove your ECU from the car, no need to have additional equipment to flash it, and no need to worry about dealer warranty.
Second, when you receive your tuned file specifically for your car, Softronic also sends you your true ORIGINAL file that can be flashed back to your ECU at anytime.
