Project 997TT Final Photoshoot - 3,052 views

This car is so much fun, so sick to look at, that sometimes being in this business drives me nuts. We/I have to build an awesome car, barely drive it, then sell it to build the next cool thing. Not sure about this one as I am on the fence of will it stay or go :) I get to attached!

As an amateur photographer, I sometimes get to do the pics for the magazine photoshoots we are featured in. I am in no way shape or form as good as what some of these guys do for a living. However I do enjoy the final product on "film". So with nothing left to do to the car, it was photoshoot time.

The weapon of choice was a Canon 5D with a Canon 17-40mm lens and a 70-110mm lens. I usually shoot on Program mode and use natural light. ISO was around 800-1000 each time. I decided to shoot around Arizona State University and Tempe Town Lake. For those that are from here or went to school here, you will recognize some of the locations: Old Row, Lot 59, Lake View Road, and the crazy building wall is of the old AAW building.

Hope you like the pics. Make sure to check back here on the Project 997TT section as I will update the interior shots, engine shots, and detailed pics I will be doing soon too. We are still planning on testing our new 997.1TT valvetronic exhaust, so will have an update on that as well. Enjoy!

Awesome pics – those are some of my favorite places to shoot in Tempe as well, especially the shots down by Tempe Town Lake by the Mill Ave bridge! Such an awesome ride, I bet it will be hard to let go of :( That 360 of yours should help you move on though :P

Wow, I can completely understand the sentimental ties to this car. I think you should keep it. To me, this car represents all that is VividRacing. A young, powerful, over-the-top performance shop that lacks no piece of real world reliability that also promotes style and relevancy.

Keep it dude, and nice photos.

  5. DiegoRx8 says:

If you do sell it what are you thinking on picking up? Also what do you do with all the stock parts you take off??

Could we see a Audi S5 project anytime soon? Id like to see one modded nicely

  6. icc1709 says:

Relisted to Ebay again. Just more of a challenge to see if I can get a high price :)

  10. Danny EVOX says:

Post the link to the ebay page, please.

  11. Germany says:

mhm…..honestly, this project is in a complete different league than the 1 series or the CLS. Its also in a complete different price class.

I dont think it will sell that fast like all the other cars did. Just let it sit on ebay for a couple of weeks and if really no-one is seriously interested, take it and do something with it that seems impossible, push the boundaries….You know what I mean?

  12. Germany says:

haha, now we’re talking. Shouldent be too difficult ;)

  13. vividracing says:

A popular blog site came by and shot the car. The article with ALL pics will be up in maybe 3 weeks. But I was allowed to sneak some photos. Check it out!

What a beautiful car. Did I see something about it being for sale?
What’s the name of the color?

  16. vividracing says:

Its a vinyl wrap, there is no color code. Everything is for sale man!

  17. vividracing says:

Someone did a RIG shot for a upcoming ad and sent me the raw file. So I edited it a bit. Enjoy!
