Vivid Racing arrived into Las Vegas on Sunday November 3 to start setting up our 2 vehicles at the 2008 SEMA show.  If you have not heard, our wild EVO X will be debuting in the Toyo Tires booth while our GT-R will be shown off with the Capital Forged group in the North Hall.  Together with our GT-R, Capital Forged has this awesome Mercedes CLK 63 owned by Tattoo Artist Mr. Cartoon, hot yellow Gallardo, VIP Lexus, and this gorgeous white Murcielago.

While checking in for our Feature vehicle, we took some pictures of some of the great SEMA cars to be displayed.  This blue 996TT was a car we worked on about 4 years ago where the owner was developing an inside cabin ride height control option for his racing suspension.  Looks like its done!  We also spotted this awesome red Cayman, clean E92 M3, monster 2009 Dodge Ram, and some other cool cars and trucks.  We also had a little time to do a quick photoshoot for Max Power magazine.

All the way from Romania, Vivid Racing is making waves still with last years SEMA killer, the VR Project WRX III.  This 2008 custom machine sits at its new home in Romania still with Cusco stickers and orange Enkei wheels.  The limited edition 1 off parts consist of a hybrid body kit, GT35R Turbo Kit, HUGE front mount intercooler, and even suspension components.  You can read more about our Project WRX III here on our site.

The car is back from Custom Autowerks paint shop with some fine coats of BASF GT3RS Green paint. We took some sneak pics of the car going back together.  Check out the awesome Rotora brake calipers paint matched to the car and the AME wheels with matching green stripe!  I think when you see the Toyo Booth at SEMA, you will know which car Vivid Racing built!

In January 2008, the Vivid Racing Project WRX III was shipped off to Romania to its new owner.  Along with the car, it shared a container with some Axis wheels and INGs complete bodykit for the owners son’s Mazda RX8.  Well, we are happy to report that the car is doing great and hauling butt in the Eastern European country.  The 2008 WRX we built was featured in 3 magazines here in the USA and 1 magazine in Dubai.  You can read about the complete build and all the coverage this car received here on our Project Subaru WRX III section.
