There are many exhaust systems on the market for the Porsche 997 Turbo.  Agency Power has some of the best exhausts for cars like the Subaru STI, BMW M3, Scion TC, and Mitsubishi EVO.  The Porsche 996 Turbo and Carrera exhausts by Agency Power have been populer.  But instead of doing a typical exhaust system, Agency Power wanted to build a Race Exhaust for those looking to gain maximum horsepower, save weight, and have a sound that screams speed.

This prototype exhaust features 304 stainless steel.  It uses high flow 200 cell catalytic converters and dual inline muffers before the X pipe which exits out the rear of the car.  Now that the testing has been complete, the next stage is to dress up the exhaust a bit.  The goal is to have quad colored titanium tips exiting from the rear bumper.  We are going to change up the muffler slightly to quiet down the exhaust alittle more.  The entire system will be polished for a show finish.  The exhaust weighs only about 17lbs.  That is almost 40lbs lighter then the stock unit!

One of our customers sent us pictures of his full race Porsche 996 GT2RSR tearing around the track.  Wayne has built this machine along with many others at their racing workshop, Hennig Motorsports, in Queensland, Australia.  Vivid Racing only had a small hand in helping deliver the strong power this car needed to win races.  Wayne equipped his race car with the Agency Power 650 Garrett GT2860rs turbo kit.  Wayne’s goal was to get great exact speed but still have a strong top end power band.  With the external wastegates producing high amounts of torque, this was the best kit for his needs.  Some modifications did have to be made because of the race car setup.  First, because of the high heat experienced lap after lap, we had to do a custom steel braided water line kit for this car.  In addition, Wayne is running special RSR sway bars which mount different then the conventional OEM sway bar and sway bar link.  Because of this, the dump tube for the Tial 44mm wastegate had to be relocated.  But after some small changes, track testing, and tuning with his Motec standalone ECU, Wayne got his RSR dialed.  Thanks for sticking with us Wayne!  Check out the pictures below!

Agency Power has just released their new OEM replacement intercooler upgrade kit for the 2008 and up Mitsubishi EVO X.  The bar and plate intercooler core is designed to provide maximum cooling efficiency .The end tanks are aluminum and then precision welded to the thick racing cores. The ends of the intercoolers are designed to work with factory Evo X intercooler piping or Agency Power Intercooler piping supplied with the GT35R turbo kit. These have been tested and provide a 14 hp gain on a stock EVO X and are rated to 750 hp. The intercoolers retain the factory mounting positions and come in a polished finished.

XGames legend, BMX legend, and soon to be Rally Car Driver legend, Dave Mirra backs Vivid Racing.  Last year Dave bought the Vivid Racing 2007 Subaru STI, putting less than 1000 miles on it, it is up for sale.  Why might you ask?  Because of this awesome 2009 Subaru STI, murdered out, and gear up by Vivid Racing and Agency Power.  Vivid Racing lowered Dave’s STI with some Agency Power lowering springs.  We then dressed his engine up with an Agency Power alternator cover in wrinkle red, added an Agency Power adjustable blow off valve, then mounted up an Agency Power shorty antenna.

Rumor has it that Dave will be racing one of these new body styles in this years USA Rally competitions for Monster and Subaru.

The Middle East is on fire with Vivid Racing right now.  This Porsche 996 Turbo customer from Kuwait hooked up their car with some new part from us.  To help improve his stopping power of this monster horsepower car, he added the Porsche GT3 6piston brake kit.  Improved handling came from the JIC Cross coilovers, H&R sway bars, along with the Agency Power control arms and sway bar links.  Improving his performance, he added the JIC Cross stainless steel exhaust system, Agency Power carbon fiber intake kit, Agency Power boost hoses, and GT2 intercoolers.
