KW Coilovers HLS Suspension Video Makes Sense

Publishsed by Dan on October 30th, 2009 | Posted in Product Info | No Comments »

Not only are KW coilovers engineered on a 7 post lift designed for an F1 car, they also feature street comforts for daily drivers like the HLS system.  The HLS (Hydraulic Lift System) is an add on component for the KW coilovers so you can raise and lower your car at the touch of a button.  Great for city environments or those track guys with a very lowered car to get on and off the trailer.  Check out the KW Suspension Coilover HLS Video Below.  You can find all our KW Coilovers on our Performance Store Here.

And as a little bonus, check out KW’s recent video on their Formula D drivers using the KW Coilovers.

KW Coilovers – Leading Technology in Suspension Performance

Publishsed by Dan on September 23rd, 2009 | Posted in Product Info | No Comments »

Just thought I would drop a special note about KW Suspension.  KW has become a strong part of what Vivid Racing recommends to its customers.  With increasing sales in the Porsche, Honda S2000, and BMW market, it is obvious why.  As a record breaking winner at the 24hours of Nurburgring, KW has some of the best technology to develop suspension that makes sense.  Their 7 post shock dyno allows them to develop a product that handles and rides BETTER then stock.  No they dont have 436 way adjustable dampening and cool camber plates.  But they do have valving, spring rates, and measured fluid to the “T” which allows them to build a coilover that will continually perform lap after lap.  For those worried about what type of shock will be better on the street or the track, now there is no reason, because KW Suspension is the best choice for both.  Their Variant 3 (V3) product is the top of the line for weekend racers with those wanting more can move up to the ClubSport line.  Check out our KW Coilover catalog featuring great products for the new Nissan GTR, BMW M3, Porsche 996, and more here – http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/kw-m-236.html

We have already featured this customers car, but he just hooked it up with some Bilstein PSS10 coilovers to lower it and improve the handling.  It is 1000 times better now that the wheel gap is gone.  The most popular reason for purchasing the PSS10 is the soft ride which makes daily drivers much happier!  Check out the shots as this car is very very clean.  You can view more of our Porsche Performance and Racing Products Here.

2 Worst Things About Stock Cars Corrected on this 2010 VW Passat

Publishsed by Dan on September 17th, 2009 | Posted in Client Cars | No Comments »

I hate OEM wheels, and I hate stock ride height.  As soon as you change that, even a Ford Fiesta can look the part.  This customers 2010 Volkswagen Passat did just that.  They geared up the car with some 20 inch Axis Penta Wheels and then lowered it on H&R Coilovers.  The Axis 1 piece cast wheel is a perfect option for those wanting a great look and proper fitment.  The H&R Coilovers keep the ride comfortable, yet improve the handling over the stock tendency to dive and roll.  Check out more Volkswagen Performance Racing Parts Here.

Publishsed by Dan on August 24th, 2009 | Posted in Client Cars | No Comments »

This customer of ours sent us pictures of his Mercedes E-Class taking it to the road course hard.  This car has been outfitted with some help from Vivid Racing.  Besides the Kleeman Supercharger Kit, this customer has also helped the handling with the addition of some KW Variant 2 Coilovers.  Putting the power to the wheels, he has also added a Quaife differential.  Check out some pictures of this car doing what it does best, rip!
