2010 Nissan GT-R Equipped with Vorsteiner Aero Kit and HRE Wheels

You got to check out these shots of this 2010 Nissan GT-R we built here at Vivid Racing. The car is equipped with the complete Vorsteiner Ventross aero kit including the carbon fiber front bumper and rear carbon fiber diffuser. The front bumper features aggressive cooler ducts in carbon and a carbon fiber lower lip. The rear diffuser fits to the stock bumper and has much more aggressive fins. This car is also equipped for power too. Built with the VR700 kit, the GT-R has the new Agency Power race downpipes, 5zigen Inconel exhaust system, Cobb AccessPort, and Agency Power intercooler pipe/intake kit. The car has been lowered on Eibach springs and rides on 20″ HRE M40 Monoblock Wheels. Breaking SEMA News – New Brembo GT-R Racing Brakes

Brembo is debuting these new GT-R racing brake kits at the 2009 SEMA show in Las Vegas. Oh, that starts next week Muhahahahah. These high-end GT-Rracing brake applications available for cars like Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, and others looking for the ULTIMATE in braking. These are never before seen pictures outside of Italy. The nickle plating is inspired by what F1 race teams use and the calipers are 10% lighter then the current Monobloc calipers on the market. They are much stiffer, provide better modulation, and improved response over the older design. Having personally owned a set of 6piston Monoblocks on my Porsche 996TT, that is a good chunk of weight! These calipers feature vented piston inserts and are more thermo-mechanical resistance.

Brembo GT-R brakes used to be race calipers only that came from ALMS, Grand AM, World Rally, BTTC, JGTC,etc and made into full custom racing systems only. These required the same care and maintenance that a pro level team would use shunning most enthusiasts from equipping their cars with the GT-R kits. Even very experienced track day and amateur level racers were not equipped to monitor caliper temps and operating temps to provide the proper care and keep these systems properly tuned. The NEW line of GT-R calipers were designed to provide every level of performance as these top level race calipers, but with superior plating for aesthetic longevity and corrosion resistance’s, and incorporate a twin seal design that eliminates the need for the additional maintenance of rebuilding. A simple set of caliper temp stickers, (also available through Vivid Racing) is all you need to ensure you are running within optimal operating temperatures during the most aggressive track outings. Thus Brembo has released a GT-R kit that is street friendly and ready for the serious racer.

Full Wald International Nissan GTR Headed to SEMA

If you follow Vivid Racing, then I am sure you remember our Flat Red Nissan GT-R we built and made a complete custom body kit for. Yes, at that time, there was nothing so we improvised. But soon after, Wald Japan released their incredible and aggressive aero kit for the R35 and the opinions started flying. Soon after kits started selling and even one of our customers in Dubai outfitted his GTR with a Wald kit. Now…. Jonari Corp, USA importers for Wald Japan has their Nissan GT-R ready for SEMA. Nissan GTR with Gold BBS Wheels Repping Vivid Racing

This customer of ours recently attended a GTR meet at SP Engineering where he showed off his 20 inch Gold BBS LM wheels on his 2009 Nissan GTR. Notice the rockin Vivid Racing sticker in the lower corner! Much love for promoting us and one beautiful GTR. Vivid Racing was one of the first to build a 700 horsepower GTR in the states. Our Flat Red Project GTR was given praise and hate throughout the communities. However, our GTR has now been featured in 2 magazines and coming out in Import Tuner this next issue. Why Wheel Locks are Important. GTR Missing Something?

Wheel locks are definitely something important to have on your vehicle. You never know when you go to a random resteraunt, ball game, or even park what might happen. As you can see, this Nissan GTR was not so lucky and its wheels were taken right off. Insurance will cover it, but at $4000+ expect those premiums to go up! Vivid Racing carries a wide variety of wheel locks and lug nuts that use special keys. This will help prevent this scenario from ever happening to you. Its better to spend $100 for piece of mind then be stranded. Can you invision getting this $80,000 car on to a tow truck!
