We finished testing the new parts listed below in addition to the car already being flashed. The car made an impressive 50ft/lbs of torque more then stock and 40 horsepower more. The throttle response is a little slower from the large IC pipes, but the mid range to top end RPM power and torque is definitely noticeable. It is less peaky and feels strong. The FWD torque steer is something to get use to. More mods to come!

Turbo cars need more air flow to make more power. Not only is air flow important, but how that air gets into your cars motor is an essential factor. With vehicle computers becoming more and more advanced, precision engineered products are necessary to optimize performance. Focused on quality, function, and style, Agency Power has developed this intake kit for the new 2008 and up Subaru WRX or STI.

This intake kit is sold as a cold air or short ram kit, as well as you can buy the cold air extension seperately.  The kit features a CNC aluminum MAF sensor mount on our intake tube with built in fins to keep air flow laminar. The intake kit includes a 5ply AP silicone coupler with clamps for easy install. To keep the cool air separated from the engine heat, Agency Power has developed this heat shield which mounts to factory chassis locations from the front crash beam to the fender. The high flow K&N cone air filter securely clamps in place to the short ram or cold air extension tube. The heat shields are powder coated in a textured black finish and the intake tubes are done in wrinkle red to match the STI intake manifolds.

Tested on a Mustang all wheel drive dyno, the Agency Power intake kit was installed on a 2008 Subaru WRX Sedan. The kit gained approximately 10 horsepower and ft/lbs of torque. At the peak horsepower point of 5000 rpm’s, the intake kit made almost 20 wheel horsepower. The intake kit fits all 2008 and up Subaru WRX and STI vehicles.

Agency Power has just released 2 new intercooler pipes for the Mitsubishi EVO X.  A 2.5 inch and 3 inch version are available in Gloss Red or Polished. 

Much like your rubber brake lines, intercooler hoses expand under boost pressure. This causes a drop in pressure and that results in a loss of power. To combat this, most people replace the factory intercooler pipe connectors with silicone hoses or a new complete hard pipe. Agency Power has taken the Mitsubishi EVO X intercooler piping one step further and has released the all new 1 piece upper intercooler pipe kit. The pipe connects from the top of the front mount intercooler end tank and is 1 piece all the way to the turbo pipe. The 1 piece aluminum pipe features a bracket to secure the intercooler pipe in the factory location. Utilizing mandrel bends, we designed the pipe to have a smooth air flow path without any restrictions. When installed, the intercooler pipe kit will fit securely with plenty of room for the factory engine cover. This kit is available with a diameter of 2.5 inches for improved air flow. By installing this pipe kit, you will maintain boost pressure more efficiently, pick up throttle response, and gain horsepower. As tested on a Mustang AWD Dyno with our short ram intake kit, this setup made almost 30 all wheel horsepower.

The pipe kit includes new silicone couplers and clamps for a secure and stylish look. The intercooler pipes are available in polished or gloss red (2.5 inch only), which also matches our short ram intakes and suction pipes. This part is a direct fit with no cutting or altering OEM components.  However the 3 inch does require minor trimming of the plastic radiator shroud.
