New York Exotic Car Rally Coverage Captured by Z06 Driver

College family friends of mine, Big and Little D, took their Corvette C6 Z06 and met up this past weekend to run with NY Exotic Car group through the beautiful roads of New York. Their amazing Z06 equipped with the a B&B exhaust ripped and roared with other cars such as the Gallardo, Scuderia, 997TT, and more. I got these pictures on his Vivid Racing Album Here so I thought I would share some. NY guys know how to do it! Having driven from New York City up to Montreal, I can say that those are some of the most amazing scenary highways ever! Nice work Little D!

Project CLS55 Rocks the Dyno

Vivid Racing took delivery of its newest project car a few weeks back. With the intention of keeping this a mild build, an exhaust, HRE wheels and the existing Renntech Stage 5 kit is pretty much all that is in store… for now.

The exhaust selected is the Meisterschaft GT Racing. With more performance and a nice throaty sound, the Mesisterschaft keeps with the Mercedes look with polished stainless tips.

The existing Renntech Stage 5 kit included an ECU tune, headers, pulley, 78mm throttle body and a carbon fiber airbox. With this kit and the new exhaust, Vivid Racing was anxious to dyno the luxury neck breaker. The final number put down on our dyno is an amazing 446 horsepower and 491 ft. lbs of torque. All this while riding in comfort.

Project Mercedes CLS Adds New Flavor with HRE 993R Wheels

So with the Mercedes CLS55 sitting pretty already, we jumped in and added a fresh set of brushed with polished lip HRE 993R wheels in 20’s. With the lowering module on order, expect this car to look hammered to the ground. Because the silver gray is bland, you may see a color change with this car too! Project Mercedes CLS55 About to Begin at VR

Vivid Racing has sold our Project Dodge Viper and it is time to move on to the next machine to modify. This car is enroute to us and will be quite a fun machine. The 2006 Mercedes CLS55 is a land rocket of a sedan. With its chopped look roof and stock supercharger, it has potential. But as a used car, its already equipped with a Renntech Stage 5 package. This includes upgraded supercharger pulley, ECU tuning, headers, exhaust, and carbon intake. But don’t worry, we will be digging in this thing to achieve more. Also its plain silver finish and stock wheels will get a make over as well. Stay tuned to our Project Car Section at the Vivid Racing Forums for more updates.
