Our customer from California shot us these pictures of his black Porsche 996 Turbo rocking the sweet and uber popular HRE P40 wheels.  These 19×8.5 and 19×11 wheels are made specifically for the 996 Turbo.  This set was finished in the Textured Charcoal look.  Besides being 1 piece forged wheels and very light, what gets this car moving is the Softronic ECU Flash.  The OBDII ECU Flash allows the customer to do the tuned file from the convenience of his home.  Once flashed, the car goes from .6bar to 1.0 bar giving almost 80 additional horsepower!  Check out more about the ECU tuning at www.softronictuning.com and view all our HRE Wheels at www.vividracing.com/hrewheels.

We love to see our customers cars and the progress they have made from stock.  Recently we received 2 updates from customers on either end of the country.  First, this customer with the Porsche 996TT has spent 7 months preparing his 996 Turbo for street and track.  His latest mods include some Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, HRE P40 wheels, and the Porsche GT3 6piston brake upgrade featuring the new Brembo 2 piece slotted rotors.  Accompanied with his Pagid brake pads, this is one hot machine on the track!  View more Porsche customer cars here – http://www.vividracing.com/forums/gallery/browseimages.php?c=294

The next customer car is from another Porsche driver who also owns a new Audi S5 as a daily driver.  The Audi S5 is an incredible machine and with some mods can be turned into a really fun car.  This customer decided to dial in the suspension and get a bit more noise from the engine.  To add horsepower, he decided to go with the premier Audi tuner, StaSIS Engineering.  StaSIS developed this exhaust system to give the driver a great tone and additional torque.  Inconjunction with his exhaust, he also added some BBS CH wheels and some H&R coilovers to improve the handling.  Check out more of our Audi & VW customer cars here – http://www.vividracing.com/forums/gallery/browseimages.php?c=385

Another satisfied customer from Vivid Racing got these Textured Charcoal HRE P40 wheels installed on his 2008 Porsche 997 Turbo Cab.  The wheels are a 19×8.5 and 19×11 which fit with the stock Michelin PS2 tires.  The 1 piece forged wheels weigh about 21lbs front and 23lbs rear.  The customer was extremely impressed with the wheels he replied back to us with, “Holy Sh&T, these are awesome!”  That is when you know a job well done was accomplished.

After receiving some marketing photos from HRE of a flat black SL55 with black HRE P40 wheels, I showed my customer the picture and he bought on the spot.  Soon after the install of these 20 inch wheels, his factory brake rotors took a dump.  One thing some don’t know about the Merc is that the brakes are “brake by wire”.  Brembo developed a front complete replacement kit to enhance the SL55 stopping power and work well with the braking system.  The front is a 6piston monoblock caliper for a very rigid system.  The rotors are drilled to match the stock rears and available in a 405mm (16 inch!) diameter.  We did the calipers in silver to match the rears.  The bleeding process of the brakes requires the car to be left on so computer system can properly adjust.  With the new HRE P40 wheels and Brembo brakes, the stoutness of this Mercedes is shown!

JayZ said it best when he rapped out, “…top down singin money ain’t a thing”.  Well this customer is cruisin this way in his Porsche 997 C4S Cab.  This black Porsche just got equipped with some goodies and one of them was these hot HRE P40 brushed monoblock wheels.  The wheels are a 19×8.5 and 19×11 specifically for the widebody 997.  He then mounted the stock Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires in a 305/30/19 and 235/35/19 with TPMS sensors to the HRE’s.  In addition, this customer also added a Rinspeed front bumper to give his nose some aggressive styling.  Check out all our HRE Wheels and Gallery Pics here at www.vividracing.com/hrewheels.
