Agency Power released another piece to it’s performance air intake system for the new Mitsubishi EVO X. The turbo suction pipe kit replaces the factory rubber tube that goes between the intake box and the turbo.

The Agency Power Suction Pipe Kit is aluminum featuring rolled lip ends for a secure fit with the silicone couplers provided. The end nearest the intake is increased to 3.25 inch diameter so it can be used with the factory air box or our aftermarket cold air intake kit. The pipe features the blow off valve return pipe, boost hose fitting, and vent hose fitting. Each part features precision TIG welding and proper setting to match up with the factory components. The kit includes 3 silicone couplers available in black with the AP logo. Also included is the necessary hose clamps needed for installation. The Suction Pipe Kit is available in polished or our Gloss Red to match the other Agency Power intake components. The suction pipe fits all Mitsubishi EVO X vehicles.

Vivid Racing recently tested another Agency Power catback exhaust system on the Mitsubishi EVO X. This gray EVO X was only outfitted with an Agency Power Blow Off Valve and Shorty Antenna. The customer then came back for the Titanium Tip dual catback exhaust and test pipe for his EVO X.

The car was baseline tested and then tested with the Catback Exhaust. The car made a peak HP of 14 and a peak torque of 11Ft/lbs. Very good!

Agency Power has released their production sample exhaust systems for the new Mitsubishi EVO X. This exhaust is currently being tested and reviewed by selected individuals in the market. Reviews, installation pictures, and more sound clips can be seen on different forums and blogs. The pre-production unit is all T304 stainless steel. The 3 inch piping includes high quality precision cut flanges for a perfect fit. Agency Power utilizes a dual pipe setup to deliver efficient exhaust flow and maximum power. The mufflers are a straight through design and feature 4 inch titanium tips. The system fits with factory hangers and can be used with the factory catalytic converter or our optional test pipe with O2 bung.

As tested on our Mustang all wheel drive dyno, the exhaust system made impressive gains in the mid to top end RPM range. The mufflers were designed to provide a clean race tone with minimal cabin noise. These current systems are available on a made to order basis while our production systems are being made. Final production system will include mandrel bends, slip fit system, and full polished pipes. We will also have an optional downpipe available for sale. Full production availability is expected in late spring. Current hand made production as pictured is 1 – 2 week lead time per order.

Agency Power finished its prototype catback exhaust and test pipe on the new Mitsubishi EVO X. The exhaust features straight 3 inch stainless steel piping with twin high flow mufflers and dual 4 inch titanium tips. The test pipe is a direct replacement for the factory cat for those racers. And yes…we have a mod for no check engine light

As dyno tested with our Agency Power intake, suction pipe, intercooler pipe, and Greddy Boost Controller, our EVO X achieved a strong and respected 310 all wheel horsepower. This combination is achieved almost 70whp over the stock baseline.

Prototype Exhaust -

It seems as the new EVO X will be another race to the best for the tuner crowd. When the Subaru first landed on the US shores nobody knew what to do. When the EVO VIII landed, the DSM tuners tried to jump in, but that was not the same car. After almost 4 years of the EVO VIII and EVO IX, the competition is fierce. With the debut of the EVO X, every tuner has their mind set on being the next big thing. With an amazing showing at Tokyo Auto Salon (see our Blog Here) the race is officially on to build the best EVO X.

Vivid Racing was first to build a full JDM EVO VIII in the USA. Vivid Racing will be the first to bring you an incredible over the top build on this EVO X. If you saw our 2008 Subaru WRX then you can expect nothing less from us. In cooperation with Agency Power, we will be working to releasing many new and innovative products for the EVO X.

Once the EVO X touched our facility, we immediately strapped it to the dyno to get some baseline numbers. Throwing the Vivid Racing stickers on it, a license plate frame, and an Agency Power shorty antenna, we were sure we had some good power added there!
