Whats up peeps! I am cleaning out the old closet and found some cool never worn authentic and genuine Gumball 3000 gear that was only given to rally participants. I have the 2009 Puma Driving shoes featuring the Gumball 3000 logo on the tongue. The 2008 rally windbreaker jacket with Gumball chest and back logo. New York Exotic Car Rally Coverage Captured by Z06 Driver

College family friends of mine, Big and Little D, took their Corvette C6 Z06 and met up this past weekend to run with NY Exotic Car group through the beautiful roads of New York. Their amazing Z06 equipped with the a B&B exhaust ripped and roared with other cars such as the Gallardo, Scuderia, 997TT, and more. I got these pictures on his Vivid Racing Album Here so I thought I would share some. NY guys know how to do it! Having driven from New York City up to Montreal, I can say that those are some of the most amazing scenary highways ever! Nice work Little D!

New DC Subaru Rally Gear Displayed at Vivid

The DC reps came by Vivid Racing yesterday and outfitted our showroom with some new limited edition Subaru display shows and dropped a rack with the new Monster/DC Shoes T-Shirts. Some of these shoes will be available at the beginning of 2010 while the new Monster/DC Shoes shirts and previous Gymkhana shirts are already available on our DC Shoes Rally Store Here.

Its time to bring the planes back into the picture and Gumball has decided to go from London to New York, 8 days, 8 countries, driving 3000 miles for the 2010 rally. With key check-points and parties on route in London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen (Denmark), Stockholm (Sweden) and after, flying all cars and passengers into the US where the first stop in Boston thereafter Montreal, Toronto and then final in New York.

The 2010 event will combine automobiles with music, film, and entertainment throughout the 3000 miles, closing the streets in each city to create a Gumball festival! The dates of the event are the Gumball’s traditional first week of April 30th – 7th of May 2010. The fee is $45,000 per car (two people), for a full-on week of partying, high jinks and adrenaline fuelled adventure! including hotels, food, parties, checkpoints, flying your car and the two drivers from Sweden to US.

Gumball 3000 is quite an interesting time. Most people only see the crazy cars, celebrities, party photos or video antics. But what some dont get to see is what it is like to really be on the rally. The driving, the humor, the scenery, and the challenges. We had a guest passenger on the Sedona, Santa Fe, and Dallas leg of the rally that shot footage of the Vivid Racing crew as we cruised in our Gold BMW 750LI.
