			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Vivid Racing put on its first ever invite only Poker Run that covered 300 miles of some of the coolest 2 lane back roads that we know of.  With such incredible cars from ZO6&#8242;s, M3&#8242;s, Lamborghini LP560, our Noble M400, and a slew of other rides, we circled a route around the southwest valley here in Arizona.  Where most people just use some in car cameras or show side by sides, we went next level&#8230; got a helicopter!  Dream come true since 2004 Gumball 3000 movie was filmed.  Chasing us down &#8220;dead cow&#8221; road, flying up the I-8, and cruising through the old mining towns, our group had an amazing time.  Enjoy this cinematic video from <a href="http://www.codygephart.com">www.codygephart.com</a> and remember to <a href="http://www.youtube.com/vividracing">SUBSCRIBE to our channel</a> and view our other videos!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the most popular power upgrades for the Porsche 996 Turbo, X50, GT2 has been our high flow 3 inch Y-Pipe kit. Now this same kit that has been available for years is now available in full carbon fiber! The new Y-Pipe replaces the factory unit and 70% of the silicone boost hoses. Designed to work with the stock style intercoolers, we include new silicone adapters and cnc machined fittings. The new Y-Pipe reduces any possibility of pressure drop or blowing off a boost hose. As well, the Y-Pipe reduces the bend by about 45 degrees compared to stock for a straight shot to the intercooler. Because of the shape and design, airflow is improved which equals the improvement in power. Our end goal was simple, build a product that would retain the stock airbox, flow better, use OEM parts, and look the part!<br />
Using our Mustang all wheel drive dyno, we tested the original part on a car with 91 octane and low boost set at 1.2bar. With fans moving fresh air to the intercoolers, we did a baseline on the car and achieved a starting point of 493whp and 477ft/lbs of torque. Leaving the car strapped to the dyno, we removed the stock Y-Pipe and bolted on the Agency Power upgraded carbon y-pipe. With everything secured in place, we fired up the car to give it a run with the new Y-Pipe. With absolutely NO changes to the cars configuration, the Y-Pipe added 21whp and 24ft/lbs of torque to the car. This was quite an impressive bolt on gain that also added style and potential scalable performance to the car.</p>
<p>This part fits all 2001-2005 Porsche 996 Turbo, X50, and GT2. But who are you kidding going out to events in a motorcycle helmet?  If you want to be the part, you got to look the part!  That is where this all new manufacture for Vivid Racing comes into place.  Stilo was founded in 1999 by a former champion Italian race car driver.  Producing extremely lightweight closed and open face helmets, they are very popular in WRC, F1, and other motorsports because of the integration with the ChatterBox communication systems.  Their carbon fiber DES helmet is probably the most recognizeable with its half face shield, HANs Device integration, microphone setup, and EPS cheek pads.</p>

This was because the OEM seat-belt buckle was attached to the factory seat as one piece. We reached out to our friends over at <a href="http://www.agency-power.com/">Agency Power</a>, to create a customized bracket that would be comparable to the factory setup. <a href="http://www.agency-power.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=mercedes&amp;x=-1378&amp;y=-39&amp;osCsid=l6h8o2cd34utv4l17kq0o62om2">Agency Power</a> custom made a prototype seat bracket that housed the <a href="http://www.statusracing.com/blog/gallery/">STÄTUS seat</a>, and OEM factory seat-belt buckle. It is thanks to this partnership that <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/2013_Mercedes_Benz_C_Class-7408-8--37.html">Mercedes owners</a> everywhere can now be <a href="http://www.statusracing.com/catalog/status-icon.php">STÄTUS icons</a>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is the new and improved Borla Sport system for the 2009+ <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/search/corvette+C6.html">C6 Corvette</a> and we got a chance to install one here at Vivid Racing.  One of our employees vehicles, the 2013 Corvette C6 needs a little more growl to it.  That is where the Borla S-Type II exhaust comes into play.  With the polished stainless steel quad exhaust tips, the largely improved exhaust over stock gives the 6.2L V8 a nice burble on and off the acceleration.  This exhaust has the legendary Borla stinger aggressive exhaust tone  improved mufflers designed to minimalize cabin drone. This system is the loudest and most aggressive exhaust Borla makes for the C6 Corvette.  The drone is greatly reduced from the prior Sport systems (Borla #11766 and 11768), and theres no compromising of the exhaust tone and exterior exhaust volume.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This customers 2008 Subaru WRX sedan is a great rolling art display with the performance to back it up. Having started in 2001 with a blue 2002 Subaru WRX, this is a perfect homage to Vivid Racing. What started as a show car turned directions when the owner and Vivid Racing started to collaborate. Going with function and form, this daily driver does not follow the latest trend, but has created its own. The car is stanced with a set of <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/wheels-weds-c-6424_4542_6059.html?r=44">Weds SA-55 wheels</a> and lowered with a set of <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/?manufacturers_id=236">KW V3 coilovers</a>. Additional handling comes from <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/search/Agency+Power%20Subaru.html">Agency Power</a> front and rear sway bars as well as adjustable rear control arms. Power and performance comes from a <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/?manufacturers_id=337">Cobb Tuning</a> AccessPort custom flash that ties everything together. Featuring a rotated mount <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/search/subaru+turbo%20kit.html">GT30R turbo kit</a>, the built 2.5L engine has an accutrement of Agency Power parts. Their front mount intercooler, billet fuel rails, lightweight crank pulley, radiator hoses, and alternator cover are just to name a few.</p>
<p>The interior and exterior are equally modded. Inside the car features custom <a href="http://www.statusracing.com/icon">Status Racing</a> SPA seats with white diamond stitching and blue logo. The car features a harness bar with a set of blue 4pt Status Racing harnesses holding the driver and passenger in place. Equipped with an upgraded stereo and some subs, the cars 600HP is not the only thing that sounds good. Outside the car is wrapped matte blue with every nook and cranny covered so you cannot see the original white paint. With a Seibon hood and a ED front bumper, the entire car is finished off nicely.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After talking with the team here at Vivid Racing, MHT Wheels the manufacture for so many popular wheel brands, came up with a new Niche 1pc forged wheel for 2013.  The owner wanted something sexy and different for his personal GTR so he designed this new Niche Monotec T61 Misano wheel.  Complete 1 piece forged aluminum, the wheel is available to be custom made in any 20 inch size for several different vehicles.  This particular wheel features a hi-luster polish with a brushed face and a full clear coat.  The front wheel is a 20&#215;10 +38mm and the rear is a 20&#215;12 +25mm.  The set is wrapped in some Toyo R888 tires which are sized up in a 285/35/20 front and a 315/30/20 in the rear.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Agency Power now has these DOT approved steel braided brake lines available for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BR-Z.  The steel braided brake lines are available for both the front and rear applications of the vehicles.  The factory lines, which are rubber, expand under hard braking pressure giving you a soft pedal response.  The Agency Power lines are teflon lined with a steel braided covering and finally a red gel coat finish to give you long term use.  Since they do not expand, they give you an improved pedal response.  Brake lines are sold as a pair of front or rear.  Lines are a direct replacement for the OEM lines including the fittings.</p>

<p>The WORK Emotion CR Ultimate (&#8220;Kiwami&#8221;) is the latest addition to the WORK Emotion lineup. Inspired by the classic Emotion CR design, it utilizes the latest in WORK Flowforming Technology (WFT) for a lighter and stronger wheel.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our love affair with wheels is pretty strong compared to other parts.  Wheels are the one thing that really sets your personality and differentiation from everyone else running the typical styles.  Recently we have been doing  a lot of work with wheel manufacture MHT Wheels and their <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/wheels-niche-wheels-c-6424_4542_7621.html?r=371">Niche brand</a>.  As the actual manufacture for many of the most popular wheel brands, we go directly to the source to get the wheels done with the best finishes, sizing, and pricing that is not inflated to cover some other guys car payment!  So we took our 2012 Nissan GT-R and removed the <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/blog/project-cars/project-nissan-gt-r-ii-photoshoot-with-new-stance-and-power/">Niche 3piece wheels seen here</a> and added their new monoblock 1piece forged KICKER wheels.  Using a 20&#215;10 in the front and a 20&#215;11 in the rear, the slightly more aggressive wheel really flows well with the super silver color of the GTR.  <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/tires-toyo-c-6424_6898_5694.html?r=512">Toyo R888 tires</a> in 285/40/20 and 315/35/20 give some serious grip with their R compound design.  The entire wheel is gloss black but we had them do a special matte black on the spokes only.  With machined pockets to improve the lightness of the wheels, this large savings in rotational weight help this 700 horsepower GTR get to business.  These wheels can be built in any 19-22 inch size and customized to your favorite color scheme.  Check out all the <strong><a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/wheels-niche-wheels-c-6424_4542_7621.html?r=371">Niche Wheels Here</a></strong>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We recently had the opportunity to test the <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/?manufacturers_id=429">Quicksilver exhaust system</a> for the Porsche 997 GT3.  Quicksilver based in the UK, manufactures exhausts for high end sports cars and other luxury marquees such as <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/search/Quicksilver+lotus.html">Lotus</a>, <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/search/quicksilver+ferrari.html">Ferrari</a>, <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/search/quicksilver+aston%20martin.html">Aston Martin</a>, <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/search/quicksilver+audi.html">Audi</a>, <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/search/quicksilver+porsche.html">Porsche</a>, and more.  Having been a Quicksilver dealer for a number of years, we have been able to sell many of their systems to clients around the world.  However besides a couple installs here and there, we really never got a chance to put our hands on a system to truly see the quality and excitement that Quicksilver delivers.  Working with the team in the UK, they got us one of their exhausts to fit on our <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/blog/category/project-cars/project-997-gt3rs/">Porsche GT3RS</a>.</p>
<p>The GT3 factory exhaust is made up into 3 parts.  You have the headers, the side mufflers, and then the center muffler.  A majority of the exhausts available are just the center muffler replacement.  These do reduce weight, but because of the incredible performance and design of the GT3, they really dont add to much gain except for sound.  What Quicksilver did is make their exhaust a direct fit to the headers eliminating the secondary mufflers.  What this did is really open up the performance of the GT3&#8242;s mid to top end power range.  Less restriction, more exhaust flow.  Some low end torque is compromised, but for a car that was designed for the track, we are pretty sure 2000-3000rpm is not important!</p>
<p>Driving the the car with the Quicksilver exhaust gives you a different animal.  The rumble of the exhaust is much louder and deeper then the normally aspirated reserved sound.  Because of the removal of the secondary mufflers and the open can design, the Quicksilver exhaust is not for the faint at heart.  Going through the throttle makes you feel like that checkered flag is near.  Aesthetically, the exhaust is nice.  The included dual tips and vband clamp design to the headers requires some adjusting to get it set, but once done, it has a very OEMish quality.  The Quicksilver exhaust weighs a total of 22.15lbs.  The stock center muffler with secondary mufflers weighs a total of 58.25lbs.  Thats just over 36lb weight savings!  If you are looking for a quality race exhaust for your 2007-2012 Porsche GT3 or GT3RS, then the <a href="http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/?manufacturers_id=429">Quicksilver</a> is definitely a great option!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Boost Logic VR38DETT Intake Manifold has been engineered to be the pinnacle of performance among its competitors. Benefiting from their extensive research and development in 2000hp 2JZ motors, they have achieved the goals set for this Manifold. An increase in torque to broaden the power-band while achieving a phenomenal horsepower gain under boost sets the Boost Logic Manifold apart from the competition.</p>
<p>On a direct comparison of Boost Logic&#8217;s manifold with a Greddy, they observed huge power gains while monitoring boost to be identical or lower boost on the Boost Logic Manifold. The gains are even more pronounced when compared to a stock manifold; especially the torque.</p>
<p>Engineering the manifold in CAD allowed the use of optimal dimensions and otherwise impossible angles determined to be ideal through fluid dynamics in comparison to a sheet metal intake manifold. Boost Logic aimed to maximize the potential of any engine/turbo setup so that this bolt on is beneficial for any HP package. The plenum size has been specifically calculated and sized for the VR38 to create the highest power gains in comparison to the stock and other aftermarket intake manifolds. The tapered venture funnel runners have been engineered for maximum velocity as air approaches the cylinder. Boost Logic chose to make the intake manifold in one piece to mimic OEM style manufacturing which will have less potential for boost leaks. The tube behind the throttle body flange is 80mm which will easily accept the Greddy throttle bodies or much larger units which will surely be developed in the future.</p>
<p>A unique aspect of this intake manifold is the newly designed lower runners. Casting these new runners allows it to maintain the linear transition from the aftermarket plenum to the intake ports on the head.</p>
<p>When it comes to maximum power, 6 injectors simply aren&#8217;t capable of providing enough fuel to meet the demands of ethanol fueled engines. Boost Logic is providing an optional third rail setup which will allow 6 additional injectors aimed directly into the intake port for accurate fueling. The 12 Injector Option will be an extra charge on top of the current intake manifold price. This will include a rail, brackets, extra machining of the Boost Logic Intake Manifold and will be pre-mounted to the plenum upon shipment.</p>
<p>We also offer the upper pipe kit for customers that change to this intake manifold. Due to plenum size and throttle body location change the upper pipes have to be modified. Boost Logic offers the one piece pipe upgrade for a simple install! Pipes available in polished or Crinkle Black.</p>
<p>The 12 Injector Option comes complete with fuel rail, mounting brackets and machined upper plenum for the 2nd set of injectors.</p>

<p>The front bumper is completely replaced by a new one with big air intakes and four additional lamps. The impressive lines of the Q7 are sharpened even more by the emotional wheel arch extensions. The combination of the four oval tailpipes and the wide rear apron diffusor makes the Q7 rear look even more powerful.<br />
The kit is installed to the serial points of attachment and partially glued onto the car. It can be used on all Q7 models.<br />
