Audi S4 StaSIS Build Done at Vivid Racing

We just completed and delivered this 2008 Audi S4 build featuring StaSIS Engineering products. The car was brought to us by a local enthusiast who wanted better handling and sound. The car already featured the factory S4 aero kit which has a carbon fiber lip spoiler in the front, rear diffuser, and rear carbon trunk spoiler. We added some parts to really dial in this car. The suspension was tuned with the StaSIS Motor Sport Suspension Kit featuring their aggressive street spring rates of 700 lb/in / 1100 lb/in. The Ohlins based coilovers feature external resevoirs and adjustable ride height which was set to about 25.25 inch from ground to fender. Since the car is AWD, we added a bit more over steer by using a H&R rear sway bar. With the suspension set, we needed to get the rollers looking hot. StaSIS has a new 1 piece forged wheel in 19×9.0 that goes on all 4 corners. To ensure a meaty grip, some Yokohama Advan Sport tires in 255/30/19 we were added. Finally to add some power to the burly V8 engine, we added the StaSIS signature series catback exhaust and ECU flash from GIAC.

VR Gets a Private Tour of the StaSIS Shop

We are up here in San Francisco checking out some business. Our friend Jason from StaSIS Engineering gave us a private showing if there facility. The shop features many of their test cars riding on Ohlins suspension and stopping on Alcon brakes. They were in the middle of working on this flat black Audi R8 as well as had their badass demo S5 and A4 in the mix. Stay tuned to VividRacing this week where we are doing a full StaSIS Audi S4 build.

Audi S4 sitting on Volk CE28N Wheels

Take an Audi S4 and fit Volk wheels on it and what do you get? A head turner! This Audi S4 has been fitted with Volk CE28N 19 x 9.5 with a +22mm offset and a 5×114.3 bolt pattern. To get the fit, a 5×112 insert had to be used. It was worth the effort as these wheels really set the Audi apart from the crowd.

Audi S4 Gets a New Set of Agency Power Paddle Shifters

One of our local customers got a set of the Agency Power Audi Paddle Shifters for the DSG and Tiptronic transmission. The all CNC machined aluminum paddle shifters offer 50% more surface area to use under shifting. The black anodized offers an OEM look and the +/- signs are available in different colors for personalization.

Rieger Tuning’s New Audi S5

Rieger’s new Audi S5 aero kit package has simply dropped my jaw. Having seen the stock version in person, I could only imagine how next level it would be to roll around in this car. Rieger usually has a tad bit more aggressive styling then say Oettinger, however you can love them or hate them. Their aero kit from the A3 sold me on buying that car and I have to say even the sedan BMW 335I aero kit will make one rethink their priorities!
