Despite the low exhibitor turnout, HRE Wheels had a great showing at the 2009 SEMA show in Las Vegas.  With premier cars in their booth including the Porsche Panamera and new all carbon fiber Devon GTX ($500,000), HRE truly set the bar between what a real engineering wheel company is and simple draw and cut companies.  In addition to the vehicles in their booth, cars were scattered all across the show rocking HRE Wheels.  Throughout the show HRE had the 2010 Camaro with the P43’s was displayed in the Meguire’s booth.  The flat black Lamborghini LP560 was featured in the Mobil 1 booth and was wearing a set of HRE CF43’s in flat black to match.  You will also find the beautiful 2010 Mustang RTR C  featuring a fully visible Carbon Fiber body as well as 20” HRE CF40’s in flat black.  Another private label project is the HTT Plethore that made it’s US debut at SEMA in the DuPont booth with a pair of 19” and 20” P40’s.  Also, the crazy blue Spectrewerkes GTR Corvette with a set of 19/20” CF40’s in flat black.  Check out some of these incredibly well done vehicles and view more pictures on our HRE Wheels Gallery and Store Here.

There are few things in life I love more than exotic cars, and they aren’t things I can mention here. But as funny as it sounds, at a show life SEMA, your garden variety Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Aston Martins don’t really pop like they do back in the real world. Pagani’s Zonda R, on the other hand, stands out like a nun in a strip club. The presence this car has simply can’t be underestimated… It looks less like a race car than it does a manifestation of technology from a hostile alien race, and it out Batmobiles any Batmobile in history. Ever. Just getting to stand next to this car gave me butterflies. More pics after the jump.

Vivid Racing hooked up vehicle designer John Pangilina’s Scion TC that debuted at SEMA with some Agency Power performance parts.  He used the Agency Power Scion TC catback exhaust system along with our silicone radiator hoses to outfit this crazy blue widebody Scion TC.  The promotional project inconjunction with Scion and other sponsors will be touring the country to an event near you.  check out some of the pictures from the photoshoot here.

The Vivid Racing Project EVO X received an amazing award from Car Domain, the worlds largest automotive enthusiast site, for being the BEST Sport Compact Car of the 2008 SEMA Show.  Editor-in-Chief Robert Einaudi, snapped some photos of our EVO X in the Toyo Tires booth and said that this car was, “Pretty Damn Hot!”.  Since the SEMA show, this car has been sold to a customer in Dubai and is on a boat to meet it’s new owner.  You can check out all the specs and more info on our Vivid Racing Project EVO X here.  You can view our entire Mitsubishi EVO X Performance Catalog Here.

Vivid Racing recently took the GT-R and EVO X for a drive through some amazing roads to show off the power of this machine.  With the Meisterschaft Exhaust, Cobb Tuning AccessPort, and Eibach Springs, this GT-R was menacing on the roads.  The Capital Forged wheels wrapped in Pirelli Tires kept us stuck to the road.  Each stop we made, a small crowd gathered and chatted us up on the cars.  Check out the fast in car footage as we put this GT-R through the paces.
