Agency Power 2008 Subaru WRX STI Sway Bars Released

Publishsed by Dan on August 14th, 2008 | Posted in Product Info | No Comments »

All wheel drive cars are one of the best handling vehicles on and off the track. However it is normal for these cars to still have some under steer and not have a balanced chassis when entering and exiting corners. To improve upon the suspension system, Agency Power has developed these adjustable sway bars for the 2008+ GH and GE chassis Subaru WRX and STI. The sway bars are all made in the USA and feature new urethane bushings and brackets for the installation. The sway bars work with the OEM sway bar links or our Agency Power aftermarket sway bar link kits. The solid sway bars feature a machined end with adjustability holes to give your car the best under and over steer combinations it needs. Each sway bar is powder coated in a white finish.

The front sway bar is available for either the Subaru WRX or Subaru STI. This sway bar is slightly different for each model. The sway bar is 2 way adjustable in a 22mm diameter. Using a bigger front sway bar allows the front end to be tightened up and stay flat around the turns. You can also induce more or less under steer with this sway bar.

The rear sway bar fits both the Subaru WRX and STI. It features a 3 way adjustable position in a 22mm diameter. Rear sway bars are extremely valuable on an AWD car as you are able to get more over steer to bring the rear of the car around like a rear wheel drive vehicle.

Agency Power highly recommends front and rear sway bars to give your suspension the best setup possible to improve handling. Each sway bar compliments itself and works injunction with a great coilover system.

New Agency Power Front Adj Sway Bar Links Porsche 996TT

Agency Power has just released their new front adjustable sway bar links for the Porsche 996TT and C4.  Check out the info here – http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/agency-power-front-adj-sway-bar-links-porsche-996ttc4-0105-p-47974.html

When setting up the suspension on your Porsche 996 Turbo or C4, being able to dial in a good corner balance and weight alignment will give you the best handling possible. As well, when you are upgrading suspension components, getting rid of any rubber bushings or ball joints for spherical bearings will enhance the vehicles response. Since these cars are all wheel drive, the front sway bar is under a lot of force and when properly setup, the stiffness of the bar can take a great toll on the factory sway bar links or those included with aftermarket coilovers.

Agency Power has released these adjustable front sway bar links for the Porsche 996 Turbo and C4 models. The sway bar link features a CNC machined aluminum turn buckle that has a slight bend for clearance purposes. The piece is anodized in blue and then laser engraved with the AP logo. The precision machined part features spherical rod ends on either side with opposite threads for on the fly adjustments. The 3 piece Teflon lined rod ends include CNC machined steel spacers which fit the 10mm and 12mm steal bolts. Both of these pieces are done in a black oxide finish to protect themselves from the weather elements.

Unlike the factory part which is long and mounts near the bottom spring perch, these shorter, beefier sway bar links mount from the sway bar then connecting to the hub carrier where the shock slides through. These sway bar links fit with most aftermarket sway bars and coilover setups. They are sold as a pair and include everything needed for installation.
