New Performance Parts from Blitz and Alcon

Publishsed by Cole Kelly on September 23rd, 2009 | Posted in Product Info | No Comments »

New to the Vivid Racing catalog are some familiar manufactures such as  Blitz,  as well as a little less known company Alcon.

Alcon, however, is not new to the game, they have been providing brakes for IRL IndyCar Series, NASCAR, Daytona Prototypes, Australian V8 Super Car Series, Grand Am, WRC, Trophy Truck Series, Bentley, Brabus, Citreon Sport, Jaguar, Land Rover, Raybestos, Audi Sport, and more. With that type of following, you can be sure the Alcon Big Brake Super Kit for the Nissan R35 GT-R is top notch. Featuring the biggest available disc of 15.75″ up front and a 15.16″ rear all squeezed by a “mono-block” caliper that has been machined from solid billit aluminum. The brake kit will fit behind the stock 20″ wheels and utilize the OEM actuation system. If your GT-R is seeing any track time, the Alcon Super Kit could assist you with your times.

Blitz has just released an intake manifold surge tank for the Mitsubishi EVO X. This Blitz combo is perfect for stock cars looking for an upgrade as well as cars with heavy mods ready for a little extra power.

Playing Forza on XBox? Check Out the VR EVO X!

While searching Google, I came across this thread on a Forza Forum.  Looks like a rendering created of our green Mitsubishi EVO X is quite costly!  Users are shelling out 500,000 credits each to race this car online.  Only 30 are being made.  The best part is, we have nothing to do with it!  This is not the first superfan Forza drawing.  A while back someone did a rendering of our RX8 too.  So cool!  Check out the real Project EVO X Here.

VR Mitsubishi EVO X Spotted in Lebanon. Say Whaaaaaat!

Publishsed by Dan on July 13th, 2009 | Posted in Project Cars | No Comments »

About 6 months ago, Vivid Racing sold their Project Mitsubishi EVO X to a customer in Dubai.  This tuner car dealer then sold it to a customer in Lebanon and here we are!  While hunting around on the internet, I came across this Blog which has exotic car spottings in Lebanon, Exoleb.com.  Everything from the Bugatti Veyron to LP640’s, and many more cars that rival the richest enthusiasts of them all.  Pretty cool to see the car still “doing work” in what really is another world from home.  Thanks for still repping Vivid Racing!

Finally, Agency Power has just released a complete billet aluminum lower motor mount for the Mitsubishi EVO X.  This motor mount is designed to greatly enhance the rigidity of the EVO X motor for those with highly modified engines.  The 6061 aluminum mount replaces the stock unit and includes a delrin insert to reduce engine movement.  Check out more info on this Agency Power EVO X Motor Mount Here.
