Mazda RX8 20B Project Still Going – Custom Fab Pics

Wow what a pain in the ass! If someone wants a 700HP RX8 you got to do what you got to do! So we have to make a custom bell housing for the tranny and that is what has been holding us up. The motor side and tranny side flanges were water jetted for us and now using Chromoly we are building the custom bell housing which holds the twin plate Clutch Masters Clutch Kit. We are in FULL finishing mode of this car right now so expect some results by Dec 1. The pictures speak for themselves and we update it alot. Any questions, just ask

What tranny you using? Is that bell house gonna be safe? how thick metal you using??

Tranny is a T6 Tremec out of a Mustang iirc. The metal is pretty thick, and Jason is an awesome fabricator. It'll be plenty safe. Engine has a big turbo and bolt on goodies, but internally is stock as far as I know. by apexwrx
