This kit comes complete with the AA Short Shifter, a modified carrier assembly, mounting hardware, and a illustrated manual for installation. It is a package made to retain the factory 6 speed - lighted knob. Fits 01-05 E46 M3 Manual 6 Speed.

Though the gears are much much shorter they shifts feel solid. the throws are short but you can feel confident in where the shifter is going there is no second guessing. This mod along with a CDV delete is an amazing combo!. and in my opinion a necessity. Shifting in sport mode with this cuts shift times literally in half. this is a must buy and and instant feeling of gratification on a scale of 1-10 i give this a 10!"
