AEM Cold Air Induction System Nissan Altima 3.5L V6 02-06 Reviews:

"2002 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE Automatic.
This intake is fairly basic. Really quick and easy install. Took all of 30 minutes to install. Performance gains are marginal, but the sound achieved from this intake is really something to behold. It really opens up the VQ and sounds great. What I like most about this intake is the versatility it offers. It can be run as a Cold Air Intake, with the filter element resting behind the drivers side foglight. But it can also run as a Warm Air / Short Ram Intake, by having the filter element rest behind the battery. I dislike the fact that there are so many different pieces to this intake, the amount of piping and rubber couplers kind of detract from the overall look of this intake in the engine bay. It does however make it much easier to service the intake. I also saw an increase of about 2-5 miles per gallon. I mainly drive on the highway so it was definitely noticeable in my fuel consumption levels.
Bottom Line: Good Intake, marginal power gains, sounds great, great versatility, good gains in gas mileage.
Would Recommend: Yes"
