It makes a huge difference on having the right tools for this job if installing yourself. I have an automatic and required a special tool to hold the pulley still while i cranked on the bolt.
Skiddish on the light weight aluminum and if it will hold up over time. Much lighter than the stock pulley. Some performance gains noticeable (revving, sound, reaching higher rpms faster) I had a person in for a test drive and it felt like i was driving it alone. First time I got my awd legacy to chirp the tires on a straight take off.
Good upgrade for the money. Be prepared to have the right tools, I love stores return policies :)
