Model #GTRSYNC16
Albins has designed a 1st to 6th gear synchromesh gear set and gear ground gears for quiet performance for the Nissan GT-R R35. These gear synchromesh have 40% more tooth width and contact area than standard gears. They have increased shaft thickness eliminating shaft deflection. The gear "ground" tooth profile rather than "cut" offers tooth profile perfection. Robotic CMM scanned tooth profiles deliver perfect gear mesh with zero gear noise increase. These gear synchromesh are manufactured to ISO 9001/2008 quality standards and made out of billet high alloy proprietary grade steel.

Albins Off-Road Gear is a company focused on drivetrain components design and development. They provide the potential for individual transmissions to be directly mounted, series transmissions, to produce individual gears, axles, drive flanges and ring and pinions. With their team of more than 40 employees, all of them using accredited production technology, they establish the timeless trends for the development of products currently in use in fields such as the Dakar Rally, V8 supercars, and numerous championships in Europe and Australasia. And it also produces a variety of OEM replacement gears and shafts for common applications.
The main activities of Albins remain focused on the producing high-quality transmissions and components. It covers the whole life of the company, from the initial idea to the design of prototypes to the production of spare parts and operation and eventually the maintenance of transmissions for people around the world.
Albins are the largest maker of high-performance gears. They are specialized in designing and producing driving components for extreme use. Both of those channels have a lot of technical tools.
The gears are made of a billet of steel of restrictive consistency. A cut and a heat-treated solution are monitored using a CMM device that analyzes any error caused by heat treatment. This method is part of quality control for Albins. It can be performed before the final shot-peening anti-fatigue treatment, which is another distinction that customers like. Tiredness can be attained up to 8 times that of an untreated factor on different parts and is a considerable plus for the Albins product when talking gears, resulting in less wear and tear.
