This lightweight part is manufactured in pre-pregnated "dry" carbon fiber composite material. Not only does this give the Z06 a more finished appearance, side splitters, sometimes called side skirts, rocker extensions, etc., are also a valuable component in tuning the aerodynamics of a race/performance vehicle.

The Splitters are designed to keep the high volume of air from rolling under the car. The extended rockers funnel this air away from the underside of the car and produces a much smoother airflow

The APR Corvette C6 Z06 Carbon Side Splitter package comes as a 4 pc. kit, including rear wheel well extensions for a seamless look.
