Borla Performance Industries engineering staff has developed several clever exhaust packages for the exciting new Subaru Impreza WRX line. BORLA has an impressive legacy with the WRX, from hot street cars to all out racers. The ’07 Impreza system (PN 140263) has been very popular. Now the new ’08 Cat-Back systems for both the Sedan (PN 140264) and the Hatchback (PN 140271). The new turbo-charged WRX enjoys the straight-through BORLA exhaust with added power and a sound that makes passers by think it is a high-end European Sports Sedan (but at half the cost!). This little bullet is no longer the best kept secret at the stoplight but still a surprise to the uninitiated. The Sedan features full 3” tubing splitting to two 2 inch pipes and two race-bred competition designed mufflers exiting at the bumper with large 4 inch round polished tips. With this dynamic BORLA system installed, this all-wheel drive hot rod has a classy look, powerful sound and impressive performance most would envy. The Hatchback (140271) system incorporates the 3 inch tubing and single exit but almost the same power gains as the split rear system. Both units are about 3 db louder than the factory sound and exhibit weight savings of over 30% over stock thanks to the lightweight yet durable stainless steel BORLA incorporates in every genuine BORLA Exhaust.
