Gruppe M Ram Air Intake System Porsche 996 GT3 05-05

The creation of the RAM AIR SYSTEM was to improve efficiency by reducing the restrictions of a stock intake.

To achieve the efficiency, reduction in resistance and increase of cooler air was needed. Gruppe M intakes use the K&N Air Filters to achieve this goal as well as an all carbon duct. The shape of the duct and filter combine to increase the velocity of the air and increase the pressure.

Filter Choice
The high density multi layer cotton by K&N which dose not need to be told any longer and which is excellent in the dust collecting effect is adopted as the centering cone shape filter it self. All carbon cases are designed for each cars character.

The Duct
All carbon duct made by hand. Lightweight and strong, it is perfect for high pressure intake air. This special carbon intake duct can make the best air flow with ram pressure and it brings enough chamber effect at peak power.
