K&N Short Ram Intakes are ideal and available for almost all vehicle applications. Their filter and tube design is engineered to increase air flow over the stock air box giving you better horsepower and torque. A Short Ram Intake is located inside the engine bay getting air directed to it via the factory air scoops and open available air. Performance is accomplished through a better filter that can take in more volume of air over stock and a tube or connection to the throttle body that reduces turbulence and provides the best flow for the air to get into your engine. Some of the K&N intakes are available with CARB certification for California residents. Intakes can be had in different colors such as red, blue, polished, while some are plastic injected molded in a black texture.
