KW Suspension is one of the best coilover suspension kits you can buy for your vehicle. Made in Germany, KW truly engineers their products to be superior over the competition. We are not just writing this, we have experienced this first hand using KW on many of our Project Cars here. Testing them in street environments, competition, and even going into indepth installation videos, KW should be your only choice for upgraded coilovers. When engineered in Germany, each test vehicle is put on a 7 post chassis dyno to simulate road conditions so engineers may properly spec out the coilover components to work the best for the vehicle. In addition to their very technological engineering approach, KW has proven their product as 5 time champion of the 24 hours of Nurburgring race and other motorsport events. Where other companies just produce a coilover in China with a ton of click adjustments and poor valving, KW gives you a race bred product to perform on the street and the track.
One thing that separates KW from the compeition is their patented bump stop material. The reason KW has softer spring rates on their Variant 3 coilover and a progressive spring up front compared to say Bilstein is because of this bump stop. KW rides much smoother than a Bilstein but when pushed hard, this bump stop acts like a 3rd spring giving the car superior handling and control. Another feature of most KW V3 coilovers is the relocation of the spring bearing. If you have had a cheap set of coilovers, you are familiar with that spring popping noise on lock to lock turning. This is because the spring is rotating on the top hat. KW moves this to the bottom of the spring.
