On many vehicles the catalytic converter is the most restrictive part of the exhaust. Designed to reduce emissions, your catalytic converter is basically a screen that burns up excess exhaust fumes. Your catalytic converter chokes your engine of power and adds excess backpressure to your exhaust system.

Even a complete aftermarket exhaust system is greatly inhibited by a factory catalytic converter, yet many people overlook upgrading this part. Offering substantial horsepower gains in the higher-end of the power band, the Megan Racing Test-Pipes are made of Stainless Steel with a quality polished finish and bolt on directly, replacing the catalytic converter. The Megan Racing Resonators are also made of Stainless Steel and a straight through design and serve to give your custom exhaust system a more mellow-deep tone. (O2 Simulators may be required if a check engine light is triggered.)
