Agency Power 996TT Intake Install

Well, if you are reading this, congrats on your new intake. As most customers have experienced, the driving characteristics will change giving you a much better car. Quicker throttle response, less turbo lag, increased torque, and mid to high range horsepower improvement.

Buy your new Agency Power Porsche 996TT Intake Here - http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/agency-power-cold-air-intake-kit-porsche-996tt-0105-p-45355.html

So here is how it fits!

Step 1 - There is your stock box. Really simple to remove.

Step 2 - Remove the bolt that holds the intake box to the chassis.

Step 3 - Loosen the hose clamp just before the MAF so you can remove the entire air box. Then unclip the MAF sensor from the top. The push in clip should be on the passenger side of the sensor.

Step 4 - This is a perfected and fun process to remove the box. Rotate it up and all the way 180 degrees as pictured and then remove.

Step 5 - Carefully remove the MAF from your stock box. Do not touch anything on the sensor itself. These are very sensitive. So dropping it, getting oils on it, or even loud screaming can cause a issue. It requires a Torx tool. Ours happens to have standard bolt heads.

Step 6 - Place the MAF into the new MAF pipe supplied with the intake. Tighten down your Torx bolts.

Step 7 - Insert the MAF pipe with supplied silicone spacer at the end to the factory rubber hose. Make sure MAF is straight up and down. Tighten the clamp.

Step 8 - Slide the left box with filter inside into position. The MAF pipe will then slide into the keyhole in the back of the box. The silicone spacer fits inside the K&N filter.

Step 9 - Once in place, tighten down the clamp on the filter.

Step 10 - Place the supplied fender washer and bolt into the slot on the side of the box. Thread slightly into factory hole in chassis. Leave loose till the end.

Step 11 - Attached silicone center hose (your color) to the right box. Loosely leave the 2 supplied clamps on the hose and then push on to left box. Leave the clamps loose till the end.

Step 12 - Use supplied washer and bolt to secure right box to the chassis from the attached bracket. Thread the bolt down but leave loose till the end.

Step 13 - Tighten clamps on center hose. Make sure it is even between both boxes and not causing the box to twist.

Step 14 - Straighten the boxes and tighten down chassis bolts on each box. Attach the lid supplied with 4 bolts securely. Make sure your trunk latch does not catch by doing test open and shut. Make sure everything is tight and in place. Start up car and make sure it idles ok. Then go for a test drive and have fun!
