If you are looking to do a full custom race tune on your Porsche 996 or 997 vehicle, AEM Electronics now has their Plug and Play Infinity EMS Stand Alone ECU system available.  Available with a 8 plug or 10 plug connector for the factory Bosch ME7.8 ECU, this stand alone system will fit the Carrera, GT3, and Turbo models.  The stand alone ECU allows for full complete tuning of every parameter on the vehicle.  These AEM ECU's can be tuned live on the dyno to get the maximum horsepower out of your 911.

The Infinity ECU's run a 200MHz Processor and Real Time Operating System; Late model vehicle ECU's all run on faster processors. The Infinity ECU is built around a latest generation 32 bit floating point 200MHz automotive processor and Real Time Operating System (RTOS), which is capable of processing 400 MIPS (millions of instructions per second). By comparison, common competitive systems typically use 20MHz to 50MHz processors. To our knowledge, the Infinity ECU currently has the fastest processing speed of any aftermarket Motorsports ECU available.
