Another advantage to Brembo CCM Braking Systems is the substantial weight savings from their construction of lightweight materials. Nearly 22.5 lbs is removed from the car when fitting a complete Brembo CCM Package. As the brake system is located inside the wheel, it makes up a part of the ;unsprung; mass of the vehicle. The lighter the unpsrung mass, the more control the shock absorber has over the wheel and the better handling becomes. The lighter rotational weight leads to better acceleration and stopping.
