The demand placed on the front trailing arm bushings on the 2010 Camaro are particularly high. They need to be able to support the crushing loads during braking while allowing fluid rotation from side-to-side for steering and pivot up-and-down for suspension articulation. While polyurethane can cope with a multitude of situations this was simply not one of them. This led to the development of the Pfadt Front Trailing Arm Street Spherical.
The Pfadt FTA Street Spherical is designed to allow articulation in all of the required directions for ease of steering and suspension articulation while achieving maximum stiffness during braking. To maintain good ride quality a new extra-large plastic race bearing is utilized which is capable of absorbing vibration. This creates phenomenal stability under braking and hard cornering.
With all Pfadt Racing products they strive to increase strength while reducing weight. This kit is no exception with a weight reduction of 30% over the OE bushings.
