Active Autowerkes Signature Down Pipes BMW 135i E87 07+
The back pressure created by the factory exhaust system greatly limits the turbo impeller wheel speed. Reducing the exhaust back pressure allows the turbo to spool much quicker. A faster spooling turbo means a faster revving engine, quicker throttle response, and less turbo lag. The Active Autowerkes signature down pipe is designed to maximize power. The down pipes are designed to reduce as much restriction as possible by utilizing full 3 inch piping throughout while minimizing bends. The factory down pipes are only 2.5 inches and have many sharp bends. Active Autowerkes down pipes will give you a faster, more responsive engine that produces power effortlessly because of the turbo impeller’s ability to spool much faster. The end result is more power.
For added durability, factory like support braces are also implemented to alleviate stresses upon the turbos. 304 stainless steel construction ensures a robust and durable exhaust that will provide trouble free performance with the longevity to match. All flanges are 304 stainless steel with 1.5mm wall thickness. Eliminates factory catalytic converter to maximize exhaust flow.
