APR Flex Control Strut Bar Mitsubishi EVO VIII/IX 03+
During high speed cornering situations, the strut towers of a vehicles chassis have a tendency to flex making the vehicle less responsive. The APR Flex Control Bar reduces the flexing of the strut towers by keeping the towers in a fixed position. This allows a vehicle"turn in" to be sharper and an overall improved responsiveness of your vehicle.
Unlike other aftermarket strut tower bars, the APR Flex Control Bar has a unique design. The sleek design of the CNC machined APR Flex Control Bar features non-pivoting head and no welds thus eliminating weak joints and flexing.
The APR Flex Control Bar is also made of 6061 billet aluminum. The construction is very solid. A side by side comparison with other aftermarket bars shows the difference in strengthand rigidity.
- CNC Manufacturing Process: Utilizing solid pieces of Aluminum, the Flex Control Bar is machined by a CNC process. This manufacturing process ensures that every Flex Control Bar is highly durable and able to withstand high stress.
- 6061 Billet Aluminum Construction: The APR Flex Control Bars are composed of 6061 Billet Aluminum pieces. This makes the Flex Control Bars very light due and able to withstand high stress.
- Non-Pivoting, Interlocking Joints: Because of the interlocking joints and stainless steel bolts that hold the APR Flex Control Bars together, there is absolutely no way for these strut bars to flex in any direction.
- Anodized Coating: To ensure its beautiful finish, the APR Flex Control Bar uses fade resistant Anodized Coating which reduces oxidation of the aluminum construction. Available in Gunmetal.
