This is a very well made product! Lightweight, great ventilation and the looks are defiantly unique. Installation is easy, except for adding your sprayer nozzles back in, that will take some patience and a little ingenuity.
You will need a smaller nut and bolt set as the stock hood set is to big for the mount holes that the Seibon uses. You will also need a metal hanger for fishing in you sprayer hoses, which you will need a VERY fine file in order to widdle, VERY carefully, away some of the carbon fiber in order to get the proper fitments of the sprayer nozzles as the initial holes are not larger enough. BE CAREFUL...I am not responsible for your mistakes. Also the hood latch is a VERY tight fight, you have to put a bit of force on it to get it to close, so don't panic when you try the first time.
After getting it installed and going out for a drive (I fortunately have ScanGaugeII installed) I was able to immediately see a boost in performance from the reduced engine water temperature. Above 40mph I was seeing up to a 15degree drop in water temperature. I normally run at 187-193degrees (I am supercharged) but out on the interstate I was seeing 170-175 degrees.
I highly recommend this for anybody experiencing heat issue or if you want to add some uniqueness to your ride!
