What good is more horsepower if it isn’t transferred to the ground? The clutch is the main link between the power your engine produces and the transmission, but all too often it is also the weak link. Many stock clutches simply will not last under harsh driving conditions or continual hard launches. When a car is making more horsepower than stock the factory clutch is under even more strain. This can cause premature clutch wear and costly repair bills. Spec Clutch solves this problem with their line of performance clutches. With increased surface area Spec clutches give your transmission more “bite” while increasing reliability and performance.

Applications: Street, Drag, Pulling, Autocross. This unit is a solid hub version of the stage 3. The hub is solid 8-rivet and the assembly is heat treated for strength and durability. It is available in a 3, 4 or 6 puck configuration. Use the 3 puck for the lightest option or the 6 puck for the smoothest engagement. The 4 puck is a good compromise for both. Street drivable in 6 puck configuration, but not street friendly due to the rigid hub. Best for drag racing, road racing, pulling, rally and drift.

Includes bearing and tool kit. (application dependent) These clutch kits are designed for use with SPEC flywheels or any aftermarket LS1/6 single mass flywheel. These kits increase friction surface diameter to 12inches while reducing rotating mass by up to 36%. The SC57 flywheels are for use with non-stock clutch designs. For a flywheel to be used with the OE style clutch, use pn SC66A-2 or SC66S-2. The package includes race bolt kit,pilot bearing and alignment tool. This applicaiton does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly. This concentric slave is available as an option to the kit.
