At the drag strip or the highway, your trap speeds destroy the competition because of the top end power these turbos delivery. The turbo kit features true Garrett GT2860rs ball bearing turbochargers. To make the Garrett turbos work on the Porsche, you need to have the conversion parts to mount them up. This requires new headers, dump tubes for the external wastegates, CNC machined aluminum oil cans, and CNC machined steel exhaust adapters to retain the OEM style exhaust. We also include new fittings to run with the replacement oil lines and required water line kit to keep the ball bearing turbochargers working properly. The fueling for this kit is using upgraded RC Engineering 60lb injectors. These injectors are designed to improve fueling to the capacity this kit requires. You do retain the stock 3.8bar fuel pressure regulator. Because this kit uses Tial 44mm external wastegates, the factory boost solenoid cannot be used. We then supply a Greddy Profec BII electronic boost controller. This boost controller features a high and low boost setting, digital gauge, gain, warning, and peak reading setting. To ensure proper air flow in an efficient manner, we upgrade the factory T Plenum to the IPD unit. This "Y" shape helps direct the increased air flow from the larger turbochargers to the intake manifolds. All of these parts come together with the tuning from Softronic. The Softronic ECU Flash has been tested and proven to give you the safest and most reliable features from the stock ECU.
The final requirement to connect the wheels to the pavement is upgrading your clutch. Because of the increase in power, your vehicles clutch kit cannot handle the power. Most drivers want a clutch that is not hard to manage for street use but will not die out when launching the car. We use the Clutch Masters Stage 3 Clutch Kit to upgrade the 996TT. This clutch features a beefed up Sachs pressure plate and clutch disk. The clutch disk is a full face disk featuring a material called Fiber Tough and a steel backing. The clutch kit is designed to hold up to 700 wheel horsepower. Each Clutch Masters kit includes a Porsche OEM throw out bearing. You do not need to replace your flywheel unless your stock one is greatly scorn. The stock flywheel cannot be resurfaced so we recommend putting another Porsche OEM Dual Mass in there. You can upgrade to a Lightweight Flywheel if you choose, though this is not part of the kit.
