Vivid Racing, your leader in Subaru racing performance parts, has developed this great Stage 3 brake upgrade for your Subaru STI from 04-07.  This brake upgrade is designed to improve your braking performance and competitive edge on the track and street.  The Stage 3 kit replaces the front Brembo brake system with an aftermarket Rotora 6piston brake kit.  The Rotora 6piston brakes include front steel braided brakelines, 2 piece cross drilled and slotted rotors that are light weight and dissipate heat very well, and include Rotora aggressive street pads to match the rear Axxis Ultimate pads.  The front rotors are 330x30mm and do fit under the factory STI wheels and other 17 inch wheels.  The 6 piston calipers give a larger surface area for clamping on the rotor.  The different sized piston bores apply the proper pressure during braking to give a balanced brake setup with the stock rear Brembo kit.  80% of the braking is done up front, so this upgrade is substantial.  The Stage 3 Kit includes the Axxis Ultimate rear brake pads which are an aggressive street pad.  Their high temperature adaption without squeaking like a race pad is best for daily drivers.  The next part of the brake upgrade is the Agency Power Steel Braided Brakelines for the rear.  The DOT approved steel braided brake lines improve pedal feel by reducing the flex the stock lines have.  The gel coated steel braided lines with teflon centers will be night and day on braking performance.  Next we add to the Stage 3 upgrade 2 bottles of the Motul RBF600 Synthetic Brake Fluid.  Synthetic brake fluid does not heat up as fast and will improve brake pedal response and stopping performance.  Finally to complete the Stage 3, we add 2 new slotted and drilled rear brake rotors from Rotora to match their front big brake kit.  The Rotora rotors help dissipate heat faster then the OEM solid rotors.  The Rotora 1 piece cast rotors also save several pounds over the stock units reducing rotating mass.  The cross drilled and slotted rotors are perfect for venting heat on those hard braking track days.
