Just throwing some info out there to all interested in doing some track days and autocross events with me this year. Racing will begin in less that 2 months and the majority of the ones I plan on running not including the independant track days will be with the Midwest Council of sports car clubs. If any would like to join me for time attack style autocross I recomend you join on of the 9 car clubs that belong to the Midwest Council SCC. If you do you entry fees drop to $90 from $120 and the membership pays for itself if you plan on doing more than 3 events. I joined the Salt Creek SCC because they also run their own autocross events at Joliet Junior College about 6 times a year. I anyone is interested in joinining check out the Midwest Council SCC site and check the calender for all the events scheduled and follow the link to the affiliated clubs and join one or you can wait for the first on and join on site if you like it. I also plan on doing a few open track days at RA and the $60 test and tune days from 5:30 pm till dark at Gingerman Raceway. The RA days are with the Porche Club of Chicago and Speedseekers and runs $175/day but you get about 140 track miles in a day. Anyone interested let me know so we can plan something. Holla.
