Maryland ver.2.0
Unless somebody can fix our original thread, I figured I would start a new one.
Stealth- pics look amazing. From a few angles I thought I was looking at my car with your spoiler now installed! Congrats on the trophy. Noodle- hows the system coming? I reccomend the new Kenwood double din that has DVD/CD with the plasma taking up both DIN's rather than a flip up. I think DaddyB knows the model. He posted it before. Looks like I may have sold my bike. As long as the guys loan gets approved I'll have a couple grand to play with. Not all going to the car unfortunately but at least $1500! You think I should step up to stage 4 with the turbo kit or finish the stereo and odds and ends? I hate to lose all those pages and posts but we can do it again. |

hmm . . . it would be sweet to go to stage 4 . . . but you will eventually need to buy some supporting parts. like a new clutch for instance.
the audio would be sweet. i would love to help out with the install. it's one thing I'm damn good at. maybe we can figure out the whole custom box project. |

oh, on another note . . . anybody planning on going to the car show on sunday?
the show off your ride in Rosedale? sounds like a better show than the winners one. with better prizes and goings on Saturday is my last day of work . . . until I find a new job, so I'm gonna be free. they also have awards for best club and biggest club . . .so that would be sweet if we make a good showing Last edited by thedaddyb : 08-11-2004 at 03:51 PM. |

I'll see if I can get off but I highly doubt it. People have been dropping like flys lately due to injuries. I'll find out tommorow.

looks like money silver which reminds me I need to email donkey again so I can see what's the word is on mine.
- Goose what did we tell you about hurting your co-workers and making them chase you in your WRX. Also you should go Stage 4 because tax time you should be able to upgrade the clutch. Perhaps ask Speedy since it seems like he has progressed his car in the proper manner. - As far as these damn Sunday meets go it's a no go. Unless i wake up early for some odd reason. - Anyways silver I think you may have to retire our thread like the midwest did and place it in the closed forum section so we one day we might reminisce and look through the thread. - |

So what do you guys think about the engine up/downpipe and crosspipe? I can get all three for $729 shipped. Do you think i should go for the Injen stuff or go with something like Perrin.
And for anyone that is interested, SLAP Nationals are being held in my town this year so if anyones up for the show let me know. Its not for another couple months so ill give more info when the show starts to come around. |

Memphis how about you show up to one of our meets first then we will answer your damn questions!!!!
j/k Well like I said before I am not too sure about the things you mentioned. Did you do any research elsewhere on the web strongly suggest Naisoc. I did a search to find out about DMS coilovers and come to find out the coilovers were good except there seemed to be a lot of maintenance required. So do some research from some reliable resource such as magazines. I checked out creditable web sites about my HKS exhaust system compared to others and found out it is one of the best cat back exhaust systems out there for power. I went with PDE up and down because it allowed me to still use the stock heat shield and at the time vivid recommened it. So far though I am happy with it. Now as far as the meet is concerned. Let me guess it is on a Sunday right? ![]() |

I reccomend Perrin. I can't remember what I paid for my UP/Down combo but it was alot less than $729. Unless your deal comes with a high flow cat. If so I think thats a good deal. If you wanna go catless, I love my Perrin setup.

well everyone that sucks we arent going to be able to get our original thread back.
B--i've been thinking about making a fiberglass box for my sub. i know you were looking into doing one in your spare tire area, if i wanted to do that i think it might work... but i was wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost for all the glass and resin? by the way has anyone worked with alot of dynamat? cause my trunk is shaking more then SanFransico during an earthquake. oh and i'm not gunna be posting alot in the next week because my dsl is fried worse then the chickens at KFC due to the storm the other day.
