i'm having trouble determining which wire going to my head unit is the remote wire. i've tried the yellow/green one but that didn't work. i know i could find out which one would work with a multimeter but i'm too lazy to do that. if anyone knows what color wire it is could you tell me. thanks

i just ran my remote wire from a wire that has a constant 12 volts, so it basically comes on when i power up the car. not the way i want it but i just wanted to get it done i tested all the wires with a multimeter and i can't find a single one that doesn't have power when the factory head unit is off and gets power when i turn it on, so i have no idea how i'm gonna find the remote wire i was looking for. good enough for now though.

okay, i finally got everything wired up and pretty much the way i want it but now when i go to lock all 4 doors my speakers die out. if i shut my car off and restart it, it's fine. i have no idea what that yellow/green wire does that i tapped off the head unit but it has to have something to do with my locks. i'm totally confused on this one...

I think normally its light blue, or blue with a white stripe. From past experience this is for the power antenna but can be used as a remote amp turn on too. Not sure about the whole doors locking thing though.[p]http://www.odyss3y.net/wrx
