Important info inside
Just throwing some info out there to all interested in doing some track days and autocross events with me this year. Racing will begin in less that 2 months and the majority of the ones I plan on running not including the independant track days will be with the Midwest Council of sports car clubs. If any would like to join me for time attack style autocross I recomend you join on of the 9 car clubs that belong to the Midwest Council SCC. If you do you entry fees drop to $90 from $120 and the membership pays for itself if you plan on doing more than 3 events. I joined the Salt Creek SCC because they also run their own autocross events at Joliet Junior College about 6 times a year. I anyone is interested in joinining check out the Midwest Council SCC site and check the calender for all the events scheduled and follow the link to the affiliated clubs and join one or you can wait for the first on and join on site if you like it. Here are a couple clubs I was looking at:
http://scscc.net/ -> Salt Creek SCC http://www.cscc-racing.com/ ->Chicagoland SCC www.nsscc.com ->North Suburban SCC w/ '05 schedule + links You can get most of the info you need from the NSSCC site along with links to other SCC's and the Midwest Council main site. I also plan on doing a few open track days at RA and the $60 test and tune days from 5:30 pm till dark at Gingerman Raceway. The RA days are with the Porche Club of Chicago and Speedseekers and runs $175/day but you get about 140 track miles in a day. Anyone interested let me know so we can plan something. Holla. I saw that guy at the drag strip a couple years ago. That frickin car is fast. I can't remember what it ran for times. But I do remember being very impressed!

Hey the speed seekers event is back on at RA for all who are interested. i expect at least Vinnie and Big Mike to get up on this one because you get a shit load of track time for you money. The dates are April 16th and 17th and th cost is $340 if you plan on doing both days but last time I just ran Saturday for $170. hey guys, don't be scurred Big Mike promises you won't break anything and if you do we'll get dan to knit you a new one. Anyone that is interested PM me and also check out this site http://roadamerica.fbody.us/. Yes it is an F-body camaro club but all makes come out for this event. Come get some Beeyatch.
