Hi from D2!

Hajimemashite! D2 desu! I'm new at the forum. My home is Yokohama, Japan, but I am currently working in the Middle East and live in Bahrain with my fiancee and our two cats. I'm an aviation maintenance/logistics manager for the US Navy and I do IT stuff on the side. My web site is www.180sxworld.com for the USA and 180sxworld.ninja-x.jp in Japan. I'm Japanese-American. Back home, I drive a Nissan 180SX. My site is dedicated to Black Sunshine, her name. I figured that if I'm gonna talk about my car, I want to open it up to others who have the same car and/or interests. I just recently started doing affiliate stuff, and I'm trying to get it going. I've done tuning in the USA and in Japan. I do all of my own work, and hopefully one day I can learn how to do ECU tuning. Next year, I will be doing a complete rebuild of my car from the chassis on up. I know the CA18DET like the back of my hand, but it's time for an SR. If anyone needs help when it comes to CA/RB, I can help because I've dealt a lot with both. The SR is new ground for me, but so far, it's not hard. Thanks for letting me in, and I hope that I can be of assistance to anybody who needs help! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!

Hi again! I just checked out your GSR... Man! Total sex! One doesn't see that many Ecllipses in Japan, since they were made specifically for the North American market. A question about the GSR- are the new GSRs available with 4G63 option or did Mitsubishi discontinue that engine outside Japan? What's the V-6 like? I don't like V-6 because of how hard it was to do anything with the Mitsu GTO. When I was home in Japan this past October, I was looking at EVO IVs. A good low kilometer EVO IV goes for about $10k now. I'm a Nissan guy, but my better half wants me to get a 4 door since we're planning a family. I may buy the EVO when I return home to Japan because I need to be able to drive something while I'm rebuilding my 180SX

They don't make the GST's anymore. The new Eclipse's with the V6's are crap. The 4g63 has to be the best engine Mitsubishi has ever come up with.
I believe there are only 26 2g '95-'96 Mitsubishi Eclipse's in Japan. The '97-'99 body style never made it over to Japan.
If you ever see those taillights over in Japan let me know. I want, I want, I want!!!

Very beautiful car you have. I love the S13 but there are so many of they around that its always nice to see someone with one that stands out. Major props and welcome to the board.

Are you looking for the stock taillights from a 2g Eclipse? Or something specific to Japan? If youre just looking for the stock lights I have a set from my '99 GST. Let me know.
