Day 2 of the Bullrun was a little more action packed. As we left our beautiful hotel in Boston, the energy was pumping. The Vivid Racing 996TT was 3rd out of the gates. Our possey of cars including the BMW M6 driven by our friend Frank and his fiancé, led the way for us as we flew out of the Boston metropolitan area. After a couple of side street turns, some big spirts, we found the highway. The group of us traveled down the uncrowded highway at around 100mph. As we started to spread out, we were passing other Bullrunners, some even pulled over on the side of the road. Our new group consisted of the M6 and a new Ferrari. The Ferrari was the last one, and by default, as we blew past a Massachusetts State Trooper, he was pulled over.
After a quick stop for gas, we were back on the road. Our checkpoint was a Ferry in Connecticut which would take us 90 minutes to the eastern tip of Long Island. I took a short nap and woke up to the Captain announcing the arrival of the ship. Engines were fired up and we headed through the small vineyard towns to our lunch destination. Following a couple of other Bullrunners, we got turned around and ended up lost. Next time we learned to just trust the navigation.
Cruising out of Long Island took quite some time as the L.I.E traffic was insane. We took a short cut through Manhattan and into the Lincoln Tunnel. We were exited to see the New Jersey side as it was wide open throttle down the Garden State Parkway. No cops, no damage, and another clean day. We ended up here in Atlantic City about mid pack. For the first time so far, I have no idea where the rally will take us tomorrow. Check out the pictures and stay tuned!
