Function 18 - Bride Seats Not For Fat Kids.
Function 18 - Bride Seats Not For Fat Kids.

Keeping with Vivid standards, we could only put an exclusive Japanese seat in our JDM EVO VIII. What other then Bride could we use. Our Red Bride reclinables arrived with EVO brackets for easy fitment and fun to begin.

The installation was very easy. The stock seats come out with 2 bolts up front and then 2 bolts in back. First you need to remove the center console to access the inside seat bolts. The console comes out with 2 screws in the flip up section. After those screws come out the console pulls out ver y easily.

Once you remove all 4 bolts and the bolt that holds seat belt buckle on, unclip the sensor and remove the seat from the car. Place the new seat in and bolt the buckle to the seat bracket as designed. Reclip the sensor and bolt the seat to the chassis. After that is done repeat for the other side. Screw the center console back in and your good to go!

Comparing these to the stock Recaro's is hard. The Brides are a true race seat, very very very stiff and supportive for competition. They can be reclined back and adjusted foward or back, but if you are bigger then 5 10 or larger then 180lbs, I would suggest to look for another model. The Brides we got are great for the track and aggressive street driving, hell they look good!
