Function 19 - Brembo's are just not enough.
Function 19 - Brembo's are just not enough.

Bob from Stop Tech called me and said, "Hey we have a new brake kit for the EVO." Obviously I was like, really? So after talking and explaining what we were doing to the car, we decided on one thing, this was magazine material. Our new project was about to start to make our EVO really stand out in front of everyone else.

This special StopTech kit was designed with 332x32mm front cross drilled rotors with a 4 piston caliper and steel braided lines. The rear kit is a 328x28mm cross drilled rotor with a 4 piston caliper and steel braided lines as well. The down side is they were red. I said to Bob, "How are you going to market these when they will look like Brembo's on th car since they are red?" Bob paused...

After Bob and I had a moment...we decided blue would wreck the performance world. It stands out from every other kit, it is huge, and it makes a statement. Our StopTech Blue kit is on the way!!!

Installation was time consuming but not too difficult. Bleeding the brakes and braking them in is very important. We recommend Motul Fluid and a professional shop for install. The biggest concern is to follow the instructions as improper install can be harmful. Our bigger brakes are MUCH stronger then the stock ones and very satisfied with them. Once it cools down from 100+ degrees here we will get it on the track and really no how they work! Till next time...
