Function 36 - The Soldier is Retired

The 2003 Vivid Racing EVO VIII is now up for sale (10/7/04) and being retired from the VR Family of project cars. With 5 magazine features (1 in Japan) , numerous trophies, awards, and race results... this 420 wheel horsepower monster is now ready to be honored and go down in history like the rest of the VR cars. The car has nothing but the rarest in JDM parts, highest quality tuning and installation, and exceptional driveability for everyday use. The car has 15,000 miles on it and is complete with everything listed below. This car is a great daily driver, weekend road racer, or a easy 11 second drag racer.

I was at the old shop the day it got loaded onto a trailer for the new owner. I wanted to cry

I just purchased the car today ( seriously ) I bought it from an independent wholeseller in PA. Apparantly the guy that owned it ran into some financial trouble and the bank proceeded to take it back. Regardless of past owners.....It is now coming BACK to ohio and to the hands of someone thats definately going to take great care of it. Just wanted to let you guys know.

Also if theres any info you guys at vivid can give me I would really appreciate it. I want to find all of the old magazines this thing is in so I can have them framed also. If someone wants to contact me directly instead of over the forum. My name is jai, and my cell number is 419 787 4499. Thanks guys and Ill be sure to get pictures when it gets here and into my hands.
