GT-R Gets Carboned Out and Diamond Stereo

We are on the home stretch of this amazing project build and with each mod or change added, the excitement is building! To dress up the interior of the car, we had did carbon fiber overlays to center console pieces which included the shifter surround and control surround pieces. We even touched up the door handles with some of the carbon fiber trim as well. The glossy carbon fiber is actually laid over the factory piece and then cured to a form fit. In addition to the interior pieces, we also updated the Nissan engine cover and the radiator shroud to set the car off right.

Next we had our friends at Sound Xpression do up the stereo in the GT-R. We added a Diamond Audio amplifier and then 2 Diamond Audio 10inch Subwoofers. The amp rack was placed in the trunk to retain space yet show off the Diamond Audio product. We finished the amp surround with the same red suede that was used on the interior of the vehicle. Each subwoofer was put in the corner of the trunk and then finished with a matching vinyl and then more red suede trim.

Next on our list is to reassemble the exterior parts, add the wing risers, install the Status 4point harnesses, and then redyno test. Some more bits and pieces will come next so stay tuned!
