Building the perfect STI has almost been achieved. Creating clean lines, smooth power, great braking, stylish interior and comfort, as well as ultimate handling with street driving features is what the Vivid Racing/Agency Power Project STI is about.
With a scheduled track test by Modified Magazine coming up, we wanted to make sure that our STI would handle the best on the short road course at Bondurant Raceway. As we have used on almost EVERY project car we have built, the JIC FLTA2 Coilovers offer the best response for our needs. Used on our cars from the Porsche 996TT, Pepsi RX8, 240 Drift Car, and Project EVO VIII, the JIC always perform to our expectations. With 16 way adjustable dampening, front inverted monotube shocks, camber plates and pillowball mounts, adjustable ride height, and more, the JIC FLTA2 paired with our Agency Power suspension bits would give us the best setup available.
Once the coilovers were installed, we wanted to get a race alignment on the car. Being proper, we had the car corner balanced and aligned by our race alignment shop, Redline Motorsports in Tempe, AZ. With years of experience tuning Porsche Cup cars, they have touched almost every racers car in the Southwest. Maticulously spending time to setup the camber, toe, ride height, dampening, sway bar settings, and more, Redline Motorsports ensures your car will handle amazing. With a strong background in Moton suspension, owner Robert has been very impressed with the Japanese Coilover. Fast acting response, great adjustability, and priced well. In fact, he bought a set for his own Mazda RX7!
With the car aligned, all that is left is for Vivid Racing tuner Mitch Mckee to squeeze out the horsepower of the Agency Power GT35R kit with Cosworth motor parts and SMC water injection. I am probably thinking that this track test will be one they remember!
