Parrothead, please tell me you never owned that car... Who the hell tunes a Saturn? It's like tuning a Geo... and those silver over fenders are death! it's like those cheap ass three spoke chrome wheels people put on their civics, its like, "I thought the purpose of tuning your car was to make it go faster or at least look BETTER."

Like it or not... that was stylish in 1995. I'd never put chrome trim on my WRX. There were a few (very few...1 [br]actually) Saturn-specific tuner shops in the US back then. Being what is was, I had a lot of fun with that car. I [br]only did some basics like exhaust, intake, throttle-body, ignition box, plugs, suspension... there just wasn't [br]much available for it. But, you'd be surprised what that plastic SL2 could do. Drove on rails. Had no problem [br]hittin' the 127mph computer cut-off. I drove the parts off it, and was able to take my share of ricers. (well I [br]guess I was one) Gotta love Saturn's warranty though. Blew 1 engine after 2 years, and had it rebuilt for free! [br]haha The second engine was on it's way out when I traded it in for my 03 WRX. Definately a world of [br]difference! ...and a sea of available parts.

when my best friend had a 95 saturn (now has supercharged prelude 275whp) he would rape the accord when all i had was skunk2 cam and intake. there is some kid here in dfw that has a sr20 powered rear wheel drive saturn saw it in the parking lot at HIN and not know he had that i raced him with my accord on the highway i was getting 240ish whp and he smoked me like i wasnt there i did finally catch up to him and he pulled over and he had the sr20 completly BLITZED out said he made over 330 whp... if you see a green saturn that is lowered on 16inch motegeis dont race him

Come July i should have her if not sooner!! cant wait! Im working on my website for my little company 3rd Gear Motoring Inc. which has two sub companies... 3rd Gear Motorsports (performance needs) and XTC Audio & Video Design. Hopefully it will be up soon for all to see. SC/DC (yeah i got some video of this with our custom cart [thanks to Luke for the welding])
